So many different and unfortunate complications have been caused by the national Coronavirus situation that began in the late Winter of 2020. It is my sincere hope that everyone has managed to cope with them while maintaining a positive attitude. One unavoidable problem was that the company for which I write, Sports Reporter, Inc., was forced to suspend operations during the worst of the crisis and until Baseball, Basketball and/or Football return to competitive action. Under those extremely uncertain circumstances and conditions, it was impossible to plan writing, production, printing and shipping schedules for the annual Sports Reporter Zone Blitz. The familiar football forecast annual will not exist in hard copy book format this season.
However, because content for the NFL and College Football statistical portions of the Zone Blitz had been generated following Super Bowl 54 in early February, it was possible to analyze and write about some of that information as usual. Sports Reporter and I have agreed to present statistical analyses content in digital format on this Web site, with active Sports Reporter members invited to access it. Visitors may also download and print these pages on their own. –Sincerely, Bobby Smith
